Sustainability is an important area for us at Assessio. We want to make a positive impression and footprint in the traces we leave behind. We want to live and work in a way that makes us as people, our organisation, our industry, our environment and our planet feel good today and in the future.

We want our own employees to feel good in their working lives, that the operations do not have a negative impact on the environment and that our work should contribute to equipping decision-makers with the tools to make the right, unbiased, and most sustainable choices for future success. Since sustainability is a broad topic, we have divided our thoughts on sustainability into three parts - environmental, social and governmental.

Environmental sustainability

Although Assessio is a digital service provider and does not produce a physical product, a climate impact still occurs when operating the business. We work actively to reduce our climate footprint and yearly conduct our ESG data collection and reporting. Based on insights from this analysis we set our targets for the upcoming years.

Social sustainability

Every day, we strive for a more sustainable labor market by equipping decision-makers with the tools they need to make the right, unbiased, and most sustainable talent choices for future success.

As an employer, we place great value on social sustainability for our employees. We aim to foster long-term relationships with our team members, encouraging them to achieve great things both at work and in their personal lives. Work-life balance is a priority for us because we believe in nurturing happy, healthy, and energised individuals.

Governmental sustainability

As a company, we are dedicated to conducting business in an ethical and responsible manner. With our core service focused on unleashing potential and reducing bias in talent selection, it is crucial that we actively work to eliminate inequalities. Discrimination based on gender, age, origin, skin colour, sexuality, or other factors has no place in our operations. We are committed to ensuring that individuals' attributes do not hinder their future opportunities.

We are politically and religiously neutral, strictly complying with the laws and regulations of the countries where we operate. We uphold the right to freedom of association across all areas of our business and have zero tolerance for modern slavery, human trafficking, or child labor, with policies in place to ensure these standards are consistently met and maintained across our operations.

To reinforce our commitment to ethical practices, we provide a whistleblower platform where employees and external stakeholders can anonymously report unethical or illegal activities. This system enables us to promptly identify and address internal misconduct, mitigating risks and promoting a culture of integrity.

UN’s goals for sustainability

Sustainability is a broad concept that impacts every person, industry, and part of our planet, either directly or indirectly. The United Nations has established 17 global goals for sustainable development, and while no single entity can achieve all of them, everyone can contribute in some way.

At Assessio, we fully support all the UN’s goals. As a company, we recognise our capacity to actively contribute to sustainable development, particularly in relation to the following goals:
