Assessio announces new CEO and CPO to lead next phase of European expansion
Following the acquisition of French HR tech scale-up Elevo, Assessio announces a strengthened leadership team to accelerate its mission of Zero Talent Waste across Europe and reshape the future of work.

Effective immediately, Mikkel Lundø is appointed CEO of Assessio. He takes over from Johan Masironi, who transitions into the role of Chief Product Officer (CPO).
Together – and in close collaboration with the entire Assessio team across Europe – they will drive forward Assessio’s bold vision: to build the most impactful, data-driven and AI-powered platform for talent decisions, spanning from pre-hire assessment to performance enablement and continuous development.
The new leadership structure represents a natural next step in Assessio’s evolution. With Elevo now part of the Assessio family, the company delivers truly end-to-end HR technology: identifying potential with candidates, enabling performance and fostering engagement with employees through integrated, science-based and AI-enhanced tools.
“We’re not just improving HR – we’re transforming how organisations make people decisions,” says Mikkel Lundø, newly appointed CEO of Assessio.
“Our mission is clear: to develop talents through deep science, sleek product design boosted by AI across solutions. In Assessio, we are building the strongest solution for enterprises looking to hire smarter, develop faster and perform better. AI is not just a feature of our platform – it’s a driving force in how we unlock human potential at scale.”

Johan Masironi, who has successfully led Assessio through years of rapid expansion and digital transformation, will focus on innovation, product vision and partnerships in his new role as CPO.
“We are in a unique position right now. With Elevo onboard and an outstanding team across Europe, we can offer one intelligent, integrated solution across markets,” says Johan Masironi. “This next chapter is about scaling and I am very happy to move closer to our customers and products whilst working closely with Mikkel as our new CEO.”
Erik Langaker, Chairman of the Board, adds:
“This is a leadership shift that reflects both continuity and ambition. Mikkel is the right profile to scale the company further and introduce new AI offerings and Johan has broad experience with our product offering. They complement each other in ways that will be essential as we take Assessio to the next level. With a strengthened product portfolio, AI at the core of our platform, and a clear plan to execute, Assessio is uniquely placed to lead the transformation of HR tech in Europe.”
Backed by Pollen Street Capital and with six acquisitions in five years, Assessio continues to evolve from a Nordic market leader to a European powerhouse – one that empowers organisations to unlock human potential, reduce bias, and make data-driven talent decisions that drive real business outcomes.
